Procurement & Supply Planning Manager – Italian speaking

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement & Supply Planning Manager to join a growing food business.

This is a hands-on role combining procurement, forecasting, inventory planning, supplier negotiation, purchasing administration and inbound logistics. You will manage a multi-SKU product portfolio and play an important role in improving and automating our purchasing and supply-planning processes through NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SKU-level forecasting and translate demand into purchasing requirements.
• Manage purchasing across a large portfolio of SKUs and multiple suppliers.
• Monitor stock levels, stock cover, overstock, slow-moving products and OOS risks.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, considering forecasts, MOQs, lead times and inventory levels.
• Build strong supplier relationships and lead negotiations on pricing, MOQs, payment terms, lead times and commercial conditions.
• Proactively identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate inbound logistics, transport providers and delivery schedules.
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, NPD and warehouse partners.
• Maintain accurate supplier, pricing and purchasing information.
• Help develop a more automated, data-driven purchasing and forecasting process using NetSuite.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, supply planning or supply chain.
• Food, FMCG or grocery industry experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing and forecasting a large multi-SKU portfolio.
• Strong supplier negotiation and commercial skills.
• Good understanding of forecasting, inventory management, MOQs, lead times and stock planning.
• Experience coordinating logistics and inbound deliveries.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Experience using an ERP/MRP system; NetSuite experience is highly desirable.
• Comfortable with both strategic/commercial responsibilities and day-to-day purchasing administration.
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently and recommend solutions.

Languages: Italian and English.
