Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Location: London (Mayfair)

Salary: £45.000 / £50.000 + bonus. Full-time and permanent contract

Experience: ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified (with minimum 4 years PQE), SAP experience essential,

Industries: Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, FMCG. Our client is a recognised health and beauty company with a global presence. Partnering with companies such as Boots, Tesco, Holland & Barrett  and high street pharmacies to distribute its products in the UK, our client with distributors to promote and sell its products in international markets too e.g. Hong Kong, the Middle East, Europe.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for many aspects of finance relating to our client’s business. This role will provide an excellent development opportunity with great potential to have a large impact within a high growth company (recognised by the Sunday Times as one of top 100 small and medium-sized (SME) companies with the fastest-growing international sales over the last two years).


  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financials for all entities
  • Maintaining and implementing appropriate control environment and procedures (including all reconciliations and customer/supplier set-up)
  • Cash management activities including cash forecasting, managing all payments and receipts, FX and banking relationships (including trade finance and invoice discounting)
  • Maintaining and improving of all finance systems (primarily SAP)
  • Management of finance team (2 team members)
  • Statutory compliance – timely completion of all regulatory returns/submissions required
  • Management of tax compliance (VAT and Corporation Tax)
  • Management of annual audit
  • Working closely with financial planning analyst to ensure delivery of management reporting, budgeting and commercial insight analysis
  • Assisting with other finance/company projects, as required
