I got a Master's Degree in Foreign Modern Languages and Literatures with the utmost grade (110/110) in 1984 at the University of Torino with a thesis about George Orwell; I have three grown kids (born 1991, 1993, 2000), have been working since 1978 and have been an executive in various companies since 1994. I have an excellent knowledge of English and Spanish, a fair mastery of French, a sufficient command of German and notions of Russian, studied many years ago. A curious, hard-working guy, as a young boy I used to come to UK for summer jobs; I have then worked for various companies since 1984 in managerial roles with ever-increasing responsibilities (Ferrero, Dea, Westinghouse, Gft, Cartiere Burgo, Asm, Seta just to say some). I've also worked for a local weekly newspaper, published poems (Diario in frammenti, 1987), written a chapter of 2007 Nobel Peace Price co-recipient Prof. Woodrow Clark's book Sustainable Communites, translated for my pleasure A. Miller's Death of a Salesman (1992) and Màrquez's Relato de un nàufrago (1995). What's more, I got 6 novels published: Volevo vedere l’Africa (2010), All’orizzonte cantano le cascate (2013), L’alba dei miracoli (2016), Mùnscià (2017), Spegnere il buio (2019), Raccontare troppo (2019): a war novel, a historical one, another about the optimism in the '60s, one on the rebellion of a manager, two travel ones. After all, what else is a book (and the life itself) if not a journey?
