My name is Claudio Dammicco, I am 52 years old and father of two children, Sara and Paolo.
I have been working for many years in a social cooperative. I graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Rome and attended a post graduate master's degree in law and economics at the University of Bologna. I have a special interest for economic management, law and accounting.
For almost 20 years I have worked in “Capodarco”, a social cooperative that has started with projects for the inclusion of handicapped adults and has developed a wide range of activities in Rome and not only. My job consisted in preparing the company's participation in public tenders, studying and applying the norms of the procurement code (Codice Appalti), following public procurement, as well as managing the administration and purchasing office. Flexibility, capacity to manage accounts and relate to colleagues as well as coordinate a team, by learning from each other, has been a strength in my daily work. I was the prime interlocutor with banks regarding all relevant processes. During these years I have being travelling in various places and could deepen my language knowledge.
The Capodarco cooperative was a labor intensive company; in 2011 we have reached the target of almost 2100 employees, many of which were handicapped adults. I left this job with an incentive, because our business has entered into a crisis, due to the fact that our competitors started dumping. Our turnover was 90% destined to pay salaries.
In the last two years I have worked as “SENIOR BUYER” in the purchasing office of the Italian Red Cross.
As you know, the Italian Red Cross is a no profit organization, and is a member of the international organization of the Red Cross and the Red Half Moon. It was founded in 1864, and was the 5th national organization of the Red Cross in the world.
In the Red Cross office I assist the head of the office in the preparation of public tender and in checking the budgets assigned to the various services; I prepare data sheets for the projects and available funds, ensure payments in due time through authorized invoices, and inform the suppliers.

I make sure that all bank payment requests are processed correctly and paid in due time. I use the SAP management software, which allows to monitor the entire supply cycle, from the insertion of a purchase request, to its management, the creation of the order to the supplier, and the correct transmission to the Administration office.
I have worked with a term contract and that is why I am looking for a more permanent job.
I would like to live in the Netherlands: I have no problem to find an accommodation there, at my expense.
So that’s why I submit my candidature to your consideration, hoping that it may be of interest to you and meet all the requirements.
I am available for interview and work at any time.
