Junior Claims Technician Italian speaking
Location: London, The City (Hybrid job)
Salary: £30K-40K depending on experience + excellent benefits.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Claims Technician to join our growing team. Past experience in the insurance industry is not required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in the insurance industry. A background in law, insurance, finance or administration would be advantageous, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with strong organisational and analytical skills who are eager to learn.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing claims through London Market systems (ECF, CLASS, Xchanging and DA SATS)
- Reconciling claims payments and bordereaux
- Liaising with XIS, XCS and internal stakeholders
- Managing claims diaries and ensuring proactive handling of claims
- Maintaining accurate records across internal and external systems
- Assisting with claims and accounting queries
- Supporting Senior Claims Technicians with day-to-day operations
- Using Excel and other systems to analyse and maintain claims data
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good Excel skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Preferred educational background in legal or financial studies
Italian language skills are compulsory.
