Location: Milan – Italy

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Department: Finance

Type: Full-time & Permanent

Salary: Quadro contract, competitive + generous commissions.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Tax & Treasury to join our team and lead our financial operations to new heights. The right candidate will have more or less 10 years’ experience in the industry. People with 20 + years’ experience are not suitable for this job.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the global tax strategy, aligned with business objectives.
• Provide strategic tax advice to support business growth and M&A activity.
• Oversee tax compliance across the group, mitigating risks and ensuring accuracy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
• Drive tax efficiency initiatives and leverage technology to optimize processes.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded tax leader ideally with:

• CTA (or equivalent) qualification and extensive global tax experience.
• Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing tax teams.
• Strong understanding of tax implications of complex business structures.
• Experience in managing tax risks and compliance in a global organization.
• Significant experience in dealing with tax authorities and advisors
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A pro-active individual who enjoys working collaboratively as a team.
• Treasury experience is desirable.
