Location: Milan – Italy – onsite, 4 days a week – 9AM to 5.30PM

Salary: up to 45K € depending on experience + generous commissions + ticket restaurant.
Our client is an established international ship broker group. With HQ in London, you will be joining the finance team based in Milan (share service centre).
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to help lead the financial operations to new heights.
Please note your English knowledge must be fluent – we only accept CVs in English.
We are looking for someone with experience in international tax and accounting / auditing. The right candidate will have experience in big4 or in house in auditing roles.
Key responsibilities:
- Accounting: you will be in charge of preparing statutory accounts in accordance with accounting standards; liaising with auditors, overall responsibility for group management accounts
- Tax supervision and compliance – direct and indirect taxes of the group, national and international.
- FP&A – trimestral reporting activities to the board

Requirements:
- Accountants with auditing experience
- Experience in big4 is desirable
- Strong understanding of tax implications of complex business structures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A pro-active individual who enjoys working collaboratively as a team.
- Fluency in English
- Familiar with accounting software, ideally Xero or similar.
