Salary: c. £27K depending on experience + bonus
Permanent & F/T contract
We are looking for an Operations Assistant with a passion for all things food, drink, and sustainability to join a company specialising in organic food. As an Operations Assistant, you will join a growing operations team of 4+, while supporting the operations team with daily running of the business.
Job Summary
- Using Sage 200 to process orders.
- Uploading orders to our warehouse’s system and liaising with our warehouse team regarding orders.
- Retrieving orders from external portals.
- Liaising with UK and worldwide customers managing orders placed.
- Monitoring stock levels and availability at the warehouse.
- Assisting with off-site stock takes at our warehouse.
- Liaising with customers and hauliers for deliveries.
- Researching new haulage options.
- When necessary, arranging booking in and dispatch notes for Goods In departments.
- Working with the Purchasing Manager to keep stock data documentation updated.
- Assisting with invoice checking (Purchasing and Orders).
- Filing and archiving customer and orders paperwork.
- Working with the Stock Room Manager to raise new orders for internal stock.
- Assisting the Operations Manager with office purchases.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Sage 200 or similar is an advantage; however, training will be provided.
- Good Excel skills.
- Confident with Outlook and MS Office.
- Good customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized with good attention to detail.
- Good numeracy and literacy.
