During my studies in Business Administration (BSc) and Bank and Finance (MA) at the University of Verona (Italy) I also carried out some important work experience as Event Manager and as Waiter where I learnt to:
- organise my work timing;
- organise my collaborators co-ordinating and delegating some tasks;
- whilst multi-tasking to meet deadlines;
- take several decisions in short time and under pressure, becoming a dynamic person;
- reach the goals before the deadlines;
- team working with people with different nationalities and from different cultures;
- take deals with supplier, clients and the places’ owners where I used to organise our events;
- reach the ability to assess and initiate things independently, when I have the power or the opportunity to do that;
- be proactive in identifying and preventing potential problems;
- present and disclose our Events to potential clients and collaborators;
Before starting my University career I worked for one year and half as Sales employee for Unopiù S.p.a, a company which sells outdoor furnishing and pergolas. As Seller employee I learnt how to compile estimates, invoices and organise the deliveries in the right time. In this environment I achieved exceptional communication, relationship building, negotiation and persuasion skills.
I am an enthusiastic, intellectually curious, organized and trustworthy person. I have a good eye for detail and I can work under little supervision. My work experience so far gave me the opportunity to understand how working as a part of a team is stimulating and helped me to understand that the working life presents several challenges. Therefore I am the kind of person who is able to find an alternative way to reach the goal, even when the going gets tough and stay cheerful. My friendly, yet professional, demeanour and positive outlook allows me to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers alike.
